Rules and general conditions of sale

The hotels in Morzine-Avoriaz, including the "Neige et Roc" hotel, apply the current International Hotel Association regulations.

Reservation

a/ Any confirmation by the client implies full approval of the hotel's "rules and general conditions of sale" below and in particular authorisation to debit the credit card in the situations set out in paragraph "5/ Rules".
b/ Reservations are considered firm only on receipt of written confirmation from the client by email or post and accompanied by the deposit. No reservation request will be guaranteed before receipt of the deposit. Upon receipt, the hotelier will send a confirmation of stay to the client.
The deposit amount is 100% for a stay of less than 3 nights or 50% of the total booking for a stay of more than 3 nights.
c/ Deposits are only deductible at the end of the agreement, provided that the agreement has been respected in full, according to the exact terms of the confirmation of stay.
d/ Any modification or cancellation of a reservation must be made in writing, no modification made by telephone will be taken into account.
e/ The client is reminded, in accordance with article L. 121-21-8 12° of the Consumer Code, that he/she does not have the right of withdrawal provided for in article L. 121-21 of the Consumer Code. The Terms and Conditions of Sale of the reserved fare specify the terms and conditions for cancelling and/or modifying the reservation.

Room occupancy and board

a/ Rooms are made available from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival (or earlier if not occupied the day before), and must be vacated by 11 a.m. on the day of departure.
In case of prolonged occupation, the current day will be charged.
b/ Mr. and Mrs. guests who have to leave the hotel before 8.00 a.m. are requested to settle their bill the evening before the reception closes.
c/ Meals not taken (in room and breakfast, half board, full board or other formula) will not be deducted from the invoices.
d/ drinks are not included in the rates (unless otherwise stated on our offer).
e/ The rates are per night and per person or per night and per room, depending on the formula chosen (see the price list).
f/ Reduction of the length of stay:
Any shortened or interrupted stay, for whatever reason, must be paid in full by the client.
Mr. and Mrs. guests must pay the totality of the stay according to the exact terms of their reservation and the hotelier's confirmation. Any service not consumed by the client (meals, etc.) for whatever reason will not give rise to any reimbursement, unless the cancellation insurance proposed by the hotel has been taken out and the conditions are met.

Cancellation insurance and "snow guarantee

Cancellation and snow cover insurance is offered to our clients on an optional basis to cover various situations (rates and full details on request or on www.neige-roc.com).

Cancellation fees

a/ Cancellation by the client: any cancellation by the client will incur the following charges:
From booking to 21 days before arrival, the deposit is due to the hotelier; from 20 days to 8 days before arrival: 50% of the total stay is due to the hotelier; from 7 days to arrival: 100% of the total stay is due to the hotelier.
b/ Cancellation by the hotel: any cancellation by the accommodation provider will result in a full refund of the amount already paid.

Rules for stays

a/ Payments by cheque are not accepted (except for deposits).
b/ A credit card imprint will be requested from Mr. Mrs. on arrival and will guarantee the hotel against any damage, theft of any item whatsoever in the room or on the hotel premises, or unpaid bills.
The client undertakes to pay the full amount resulting from such damage caused by him or any member of his family/group.
